Marking: Definition

The HMR require you to mark all hazardous materials intended for transportation in accordance with
Part 172, Subpart D of the HMR. Markings identified in the HMR
include a descriptive name, identification number, instructions, cautions, weight, specification or
UN marks, or combinations thereof, required on outer packagings of hazardous materials.
