Introduction

Hazard warning information is required to be communicated on all packages in which hazardous materials are being transported, unless explicitly excepted in the HMR. Hazardous materials must be marked, labeled, and placarded, as required. This topic covers the HMR requirements relevant to marking, labeling, and placarding of hazardous materials.
